Hope Harbor by Irene Hannon
From the publisher:
Tracy Campbell never wanted to leave Hope Harbor, Oregon, or the idyllic three-generation cranberry farm where she grew up. But life--and love--altered her plans. When tragedy strikes and changes her plans yet again, she finds herself back in her hometown with a floundering farm to run and a heartbreaking secret. Romance is not on her agenda. Nor is it on Michael Hunter's. The visitor from Chicago has daunting secrets of his own. But when Tracy recruits him to help save a struggling charitable organization, the winds of change begin to sweep through Hope Harbor, bringing healing, hope, and love to countless lives--including their own.
Fan favorite Irene Hannon brings a whole new cast of characters to life in a charming Oregon seaside village. Emotional and heartwarming, this story invites readers to come home to Hope Harbor, where love and hope bloom--and hearts heal.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a perfect summer read. The pacing and characters just flowed exactly how the story revealed itself.
Irene Hannon is known for her high-paced heart-racing stories, but I think this was even better than her other ones. Maybe because this is how life is for most of us, or because she developed the setting so well. Either way, readers of Irene Hannon should pick up this book. And if you just enjoy contemporary Christian this is for you. It goes beyond just a love story and is a book about reconciliation with yourself and God, and others. It is about forgiveness and making changes from the mistakes of the past. A steady paced book that will let you soak it all in as you read it.
Tracy, Michael, and Anna will all capture your heart as they work through life and as they find God and reconciliation where they didn't expect it.
I received this book free from Revell Reads in exchange for my honest review.
