365 Pocket Prayers for Mothers by Amie Carlson, Karen Hodge, and Erin Keeley Marshall
From the publisher:
Daily life brings worries—challenges with your children, tasks undone, health problems, financial difficulties, and other things that keep you from enjoying your children and your life. Sometimes it’s difficult to know what to pray for or even how to talk with God about these life issues. Following in the footsteps of the popular 365 Pocket Prayers series, which has touched so many lives, here is an edition especially for moms and their special life needs. Each reading in this convenient, easy-to-carry, quick-access guide begins with a daily prayer and ends with a promise from Scripture.
____________
This is a lovely little book that I can imagine mothers turning to and picking up on a busy day. Mothers need time with God but sometimes they feel so rushed that there doesn't seem to be enough time. Each page has a short thought and Bible verse to encourage and strengthen mothers. I imagine that the authors would like these little prayers to encourage mothers to spend even more time in prayer with God and really rejuvenate themselves.
The book is small and perfect to fit in a purse or leave in your car to read when you are waiting to pick your child up from school or other such moments.
I received this book free from Tyndale Publishing in exchange for my honest review.
