Goodnight Ark by Laura Sassi

From the publisher:
Beds are ready. Food is stored. Noah hollers, “All aboard!” It’s bedtime on Noah’s ark, but the animals can’t sleep because of the storm. Two by two, they crowd into Noah’s bed, creating a sticky situation. Will Noah ever get them back to their own beds? Climb aboard the ark for this rollicking, yet ultimately restful bedtime story as Noah finds a way to make things calm and cozy, even in the midst of a storm.

This is an adorable book by Laura Sassi and illustrated by Jane Chapman.  Laura Sassi writes a fun book that has rhythm and rhyme which will engage adults and children alike.  Sassi's story of Noah and the animals is something children can relate to as they are sometimes scared of storms and go running to their parents' room.  While the story is not religious besides the name or theme, it still is an endearing story.

Jane Chapman's illustrations make you want to reach through the pages and touch the animals.  Children and adults will enjoy watching the animals and Noah go through the storm.

I recommend this book.

I received this book free from BookLookBloggers in exchange for my honest review.
